Essentials For Effective Project Management

 Duration: 2 days

This seminar is designed for organizations/individuals seeking a basic understanding of the fundamentals of project management and the essential processes, tools/techniques needed to make project management work successfully.  Unlike courses that cover a plethora of information available to the project management profession, this seminar “cuts-to-the-chase”, by introducing and explaining the key tools/techniques from A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOKÒ Guide) that are essential for effective management of small-to-medium size projects.  Attendees are challenged to apply many of these during this seminar using their current “live” projects. Furthermore, this seminar goes beyond to discuss/demonstrate some project management “best practices”, including how these tools/techniques are practically applied using commercially available software, including Microsoft ExcelÒ, ProjectÒ, and WordÒ.  Each attendee is provided with an electronic file/template of the software tools/techniques demonstrated, which may be immediately applied to their projects. 
Two (2) Days - November 29 & 30, 2016 - 8:30 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. each day.

Executive/Operations Management, Functional Managers, Program Managers, Project Managers, Project Team Members, and Program/Project Support Personnel responsible for or involved with initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling, and closing projects.
