Energy Safety Passport
The Energy Safety Passport is the Appalachian Basin-wide standardized onboarding and safety training program recommended to access oit and gas worksites. This four hour course is a detailed overview of what everyone must be aware of, how to avoid incidents of all types and what to do if they occur.
Introduction to the Trades
This unique training program provides an introductory overview to building trades. During the six-week course, participants will be exposed to a wide range of skilled occupations, through field trips to state-of-the-art union training facilities, hands-on activities, and meetings with expert craftspeople representing 18 local trade unions.
Scalo Professional Roofing Training Program
Developed in partnership with Burns+Scalo, this training program introduces candidates to the basics of roofing and solar installation. The course begins with basic safety, equipment and hand tools. Students also learn the roofing process, including insulation, underlayment and roofing systems, waterproofing and green concepts.
Surface Restoration and Surface Treatment
This program provides training in Surface Treatment (the production, preparation and application and care all surface coatings and protections) and Surface Restoration (maintenance, cleaning and repair).
Essentials For Effective Project Management
This seminar is designed for organizations/individuals seeking a basic understanding of the fundamentals of project management and the essential processes, tools/techniques needed to make project management work successfully. Unlike courses that cover a plethora of information available to the project management profession, this seminar “cuts-to-the-chase”, by introducing and explaining the key tools/techniques from A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOKÒ Guide) that are essential for effective management.
Fundamentals of Project Management
This half (½) day seminar is designed for organizations as well as individuals seeking a basic understanding of project management. The primary objective of this seminar is to introduce and explain the fundamental (i.e. generally accepted) lexicon, knowledge areas, and process domains of project management.
